Hey guys, It's been a long time since I last posted, mostly because my external harddrive's cord stopped working >.< So I haven't been able to access any of my photos. Anyway, I got a new cord yesterday, so I'll be able to make more posts relatively soon.

Anyway, if I remember correctly where I was in my posting from my trip, I was about to post the photos from the aviary at the Oregon Aquarium in Newport, OR.

There were only four species of sea birds in the aviary, but I didn't get any good photos of the Rhinoceros Auklets, so I only have three species for you, but, in my opinion, this is where I got the best of my photos.

The other interesting bird-related news in my life is that I'm currently in a parasitology course at my local college and someone hit a Red-tail Hawk the day before ;_;.... it was very sad, but it was a good opportunity for us to dissect it and look for parasites. You'd be surprised at the number of mites, flies, tapeworms, and nematodes that we found on and in that bird, even after being in the fridge for a day O_o.

Can I just say that I love your community? I'm from Manila. I just saw all of the bird photos and they're amazing. I took some photos yesterday with my digital camera. It's not so great. I was tired and my hands were all shaky.
