okey doke... hmm well that was..

....fun. I guess. Inconsistent with all the other series. But...

..no stuff it, i admit- it wasn't good enough! At the same time that my heart is breaking for Donna I can't help but feel underwhelmed with the rest of it.

I knew Donna was leaving- CT has said she was leaving all along and we knew that she wanted to travel with him forever which not only means she had to leave but also equals angsty doom in the RTD-verse. That whole Donna leaving bit was done really well so that was good. Unhappy-good. I'm too sad to talk about it actually.

Stuff that makes me happy:
I LOVED Catherine's acting when she was Doctor-Donna XD. oh god that was brill.

I am so so relieved that there wasn't any Martha vs Rose crap. :D hurray! Rose even acknowledged that Martha '(is) good' and yay Martha was pleased or moved even that they had been reunited. And they hugged eachother! I guess RTD does feel bad for the fangirl hating. (and when there was a little Donna/Martha moment i couldn't help but go fangirly on my brother)

I frigging loved Davros. They'd have to be hopeless to go wrong there but i was grinning like a one-hearted Ten when Davros laughed as his plans went into action and when he had his little 'dust to atoms' speech.

Dalek Caan betraying the Daleks was also a great moment- not the most clever or unexpected thing but still good stuff. I love baddies gone good (I still have hope for you Master!)

Daleks speaking German! Martha speaking German! Martha being all awesome and showing, yet again, that sisters are doing it for themselves. Also Martha being able to talk herself out of a situation and telling the lady to 'shoot me then' is so very Martha. ahh i love her. I don't understand people who hate her and I wouldn't mind having that one explained to me. Well having actual hate for any character is silly.

Team Mickey and Jackie is just lovely. They've had some proper character development together. Also, Jackie saying sorry to the lady next to her before getting out of the nasty doom situation. Now THAT is human. Although i personally would have risked grabbing the person next to me on the way out.

I'm relieved that we have a rather happy ending for Rose. Hopefully the Ten/Rose fans are pleased- it's utterly canon now guys! and you can go fanfic crazy lol- and the other shippers and non-shippers and anti-'one true companion'-ers too because although the Doctor is still lonely as always, he is able to move on without mourning her for an entire season.

hahahaha Jackie made the Doctor think she named her baby after him!!

The Doctor's face as he watches Sarah Jane walking off and also...
Martha and Jack walking off hand in hand. awww

BUT some bad stuff (keep in mind that I have been hyping myself up heaps for this episode and did not think I could be less than entirely pleased with the Davros bits)
a) Davros was not developed enough!!!!! They spent more time on goodbyes than developing Davros!
b) The only way the Daleks are coming back is by something miraculous happening again. sheesh. Good luck with that Moffat. (then again, maybe we should let the Daleks rest for a little while yeah? They're starting to lose their impact)
c) Damn. I wanted the return of Sylvester McCoy. That was just cracky hope.
d) Damn. The TARDIS wasn't the most faithful companion. It seems that the definition of faithful here is 'would travel with him forever'. That's stupid. So Sarah Jane wouldn't have stayed with the Doctor forever if she could have all those years ago? Rose wouldn't? I bet if the Doctor hadn't been all hot and cold with Martha even she would have stayed.
e) Apparently Rose is what made the Doctor good.. or humane or whatever. Rose was good in this episode I am pleased to say (oh wait, other than the fact that she went away and risked the wellbeing of the universe to get to the Doctor despite the fact she was quite clearly told not to. And the Doctor was pleased about that. geez. Doctor, you are just not the Doctor sometimes. I'm just gonna forget that bit so I can pretend that S1 Rose is back) but this does not fit with the other series. She had that kind of morality in Dalek and the Dickens episode and maybe a few more but she also turned many living things to dust in Parting of the Ways. And she wields a gun like Captain Jack and Mickey. In Runaway Bride the Doctor had to be stopped by Donna from his super vengeful ways. And in Partners in Crime Donna said that it was Martha who did him good because he had changed his killing spree ways. So Donna and Martha were quite obviously the better influence. I am a Martha fan so of course I would say that, but it is true. This is why I'm a Martha fan after all- the Doctor was questioned by her and you could see him become a better Time Lord because of it. It's also why I like Ten/Martha and sometimes feel the Nine/Rose love on rewatching. But I think Rose helped him with his loneliness rather than with his morality.
f) Why does the Doctor feel he can't go to Martha and Jack and Sarah Jane to feel less lonely? They love him!

The interesting: the episode ended with the Doctor all alone. No cliffhanger. Such a contrast to all the other finales and I remember RTD saying that the reason Donna arrives at the end of Doomsday (and so naturally at the end of LOTTL aswell) is to make sure audiences know that the Doctor goes on no matter what because that's what the show's about. That's the Doctor's life. So 2 things- is RTD trying to put a sort of full stop on the show as his time comes to an end? (but isn't he doing the specials anyway?) Or is this to make it obvious that the Doctor needs someone desperately to be his one true companion so that we are ready for River Song to be his lover? Perhaps the one-hearted Doctor whispered his name into Rose's ear.

Oooo! I hope the Confidential is around to download! I loved the last one with DTs geekery and I wanna see ALL the actors hanging out together this time....

My brother and I have some good ideas for Moffat's run. I wish we were 'in the family' or something so we could influence him haha

In other 'news' I watched the last episode of 'Spaced' for the first time the other day. At last! I don't know how many years I've been watching this series with gaps and I don't know why I didn't just download it. But what a great ending! Love that show- it manages to be hilarious and sweet

A quote for your throat

aww I didn't think I could love that energetic and lovely director Graeme Harper more than I already do. He said some lovely things about Catherine Tate in the Confidential and I just found this quote- when searching for which actors are going to be in Survivors and Little Dorrit- and thought it was a nice thing to read if you're a fan of Freema:

You mentioned something else that was going on at the time?
Harper: When we cast the character of Adeola, I met Freema [Agyeman] for this part- actually, I met her for two parts, and when I met her, as soon as she walked through the door, I knew she was going to be quite exceptional. When she walked in, I thought I was looking at Halle Berry English-style. She isn’t Halle Berry in looks, but when this girl walks into a room, heads turn seriously, because they’re looking at a very beautiful woman, but not only is she stunningly good-looking with her own special style, she has some inner beauty when you’re talking and working with her; she’s a really nice, warm human being, who has a real aura to her. She has ‘it,’ whatever ‘it’ is, but I didn’t know I was going to cast her yet; she just walked in and I thought, ‘Hello, this is something special!’ She then read for a particular part and was about to go, and I said, ‘Before you go, could you read for another part for me as well?’ because there were two possible parts there, and I know I indicated to her that if I had my way there would be something for her, although it wasn’t up to me in the end, because these decisions are made by committee and Russell has to approve the casting, and so does Julie and Phil and that’s how it worked. But if I was able, I would persuade them to go down that road, because this girl was really special. Well, they said, ‘Yes please, would you offer her the part of Adeola?’ and I know she was thrilled. Of course what I didn’t know at the time was that they were already looking at her to possibly play the new assistant.

Me: Although I don't know why people go on about Halle Berry lol

Mini crack theory for DW S4E13

Why did I just watch Exit Wounds? *is devastated all over again*
I've not been reading any DW fan theories yet so after seeing donna_c_punk's theory that
the 'most faithful companion' is the Doctor's hand (and a very good theory it is indeed) I was wondering if anyone had considered that maybe the most faithful companion is the TARDIS. That would be weird though wouldn't it, DW without the TARDIS? Unless it just means the TARDIS changes somehow.

Faithful
1. strict or thorough in the performance of duty.
2. true to one's word, promises, vows, etc.
3. full of or showing loyalty or fidelity.
4. that may be relied upon, trusted, or believed.
5. adhering or true to fact or an original: a faithful account; a faithful copy.
6. Obsolete full of faith; believing.

No.4 doesn't quite sound like the TARDIS though. Although that's probably because the Doctor still can't work it properly- the Master didn't seem to have any problems after all.

If it's Rose I'm going to be kicking things until next year. That's 45 years (or something) of fandom geekery you'd be messing with RTD and co. It might be nice for the kiddies who grew up with Rose but it's just annoying for the population who see her as just another companion. It really wouldn't make sense when you consider all the things ALL the companions have gone through for him.
Well, if it's any of the companion companions I'll be groaning. Rose is the one they seem to idolise in New Who though for some strange reason.

I doubt they would do this to us. They put that line in just so we would be making up crack theories for a week and they can patronise us in the next commentary XD. I love it.

The 21st century's when everything changes, Jack. And we're not ready. - My Cracky Finale Ideas

Cracky Finale Number One
Well from the fact that the actors and stuff keep saying this is bigger than the Daleks taking over earth I figure that it is a universe thing. SO! I don't think Davros is good enough to take over the universe. (actually he probably is and that's probably what's going to happen but this is my Cracky Finale Idea so shhh) Therefore he will need help from something bigger and better. (he had better need help from something bigger and better or I will be pissed that all the magazines gave away the Davros spoiler). He needs *drumroll please*.................. an Eternal! It's the Black Guardian omg!
To add to this I have the cracky idea that perhaps the reason Rose called herself the "Bad Wolf" was to give the greater warning about the end of the universe when the time came. Because as some of you may know, the Nordic legend says that there are wolf gods chasing the Sun and the Moon across the sky trying to eat them and at the time of Ragnarok they will catch up and swallow them up. Then Fenrir will break from his chains (chains familiar at all? lol sorry, now that is a really cracktastic comment) and swallow Odin. IN OTHER WORDS the writers are using references to legends as they set up a story about the actual end of the universe. Maybe it's an end that can be avoided though (otherwise there's no point in the Doctor etc. doing anything) so that the universe ends with a whimper rather than a bang.

Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
is also great
And would suffice.
-Monsieur Frost

The most cracky suggestion of all- the Doctor is like fire and ice because he's gonna end the universe. All the companions will die and there will be a renewal. As goes with Norse mythology. (So say goodbye to River Song's arc LOL. I can see Moffat now: "why did you not tell me about this end of the universe stuff hmm?" RTD folds arms smugly: "Thought you'd be the creator of the Doctor's one true love huh?")

Cracky Finale Number Two
Davros Daleks vs Cult of Skaro Daleks! Daleks vs Daleks! woo!

Cracky Finale Number Three
Rose was one of Fenric's 'Wolves' all along! Dun dun dun! XD (that one's just embarrassing)

Cracky Finale Number Four
Lucy Saxon finds the Doctor and gives him the Master's ring in hope that he will get him to return because he needs him to help fight Davros. They are allies for an episode or 2 and defeat Davros and the Daleks hurray! Then they decide to be friends and fly away happily in the TARDIS together.

What I Think Will Really Happen
I think it involves a few more spoilers than most people are aware of so I'll keep it to myself for the time being. It's not a very exciting idea anyway.

(I mean 'loved' without the shallow physical attraction this time of course hahaha... althouuugh, they DID manage it with the Master.. *Flash forward four weeks- Me shipping my #Romana action figure with melted plastic goo stuck on top of a Dalek*)

I loved that guy with the Italian accent in the refugee camp :D

So I guess the soothsayer in 'The Fires of Pompeii' was predicting the future for one episode's worth of events? hmm not as exciting as it could have been. It would have been better if she already had something on her back in that episode and throughout the entire series. Although the new 'too many coincidences' with Donna storyline is intriguing. As is the fact that Bad Wolf appeared everywhere as soon as Donna said it. What the heck?! Why was the message left in that particular moment? Why not earlier? Very very interesting.

I'm liking the new Doctor-ish Rose. I have to wonder what she's been up to that made her so knowledgeable. I mean, old man Harkness (what is he, like a couple of centuries old or something?) of the 51st century who used to be a Time Agent seems less knowledgeable than her at the moment. Actually I shouldn't expect a good explanation for this. It's what happens when you go to Pete's World. In Pete's World, humans can develop button thingys that transport you via the void into the Doctor's World. Humans are better in Pete's World. (and some smooth acting from BP)

And Donna was, of course, fantastic. Need it be said? After all the unfair pre-S4 Donna hate it's fun to say it (and see others say it) so I will. Yep Donna was brilliant.

The plot itself- meh. It was a good excuse to get Catherine to act her socks off. (And everyone else when they were there- lots and lots of good acting from everyone in this episode) Other than that it just seemed like constant suspense all the way from the beginning credits to the end credits.

Continuity/plot majiggy error: In VOTD, Gramps says that everyone left London (except in essence, himself and the queen) because they expected disaster to happen on Christmas after all the alien attacks. But in 'Turn Left' someone says that all their friends and family are gone because the Titanic crashed into London. tsk tsk

Now give me a moment to flail over the trailer again.
*dies*
p.s. There is way too much LJ stuff for me to get through tonight. I will save your Reaction Posts for when I am no longer flailing. Then I can flail all over again! yay!
#I do not own a Romana action figure. *sigh* (But you know, in four weeks time I might)<strike></strike>

I'd just like to put it out there- it's possible that RTD made a more thrilling episode than Moffat this year. Moffat usually wins with the 'edge of your seat' stuff (although Professor Yana's fobwatch moment was pretty much there) but I was definitely more ready to yell at the screen during this episode than the last. Mindblowingly brilliant that was.

Usually everybody jumps right on it even though Sci fiction generally requires us to suspend our belief to a certain degree. But this time- THIS time there WAS a proper mistake! And nobody has complained! The power of being Mr Moffat.
Anyway, the problem is: the Doctor says there's "a million million life forms. And silence in the library" and then he and Donna start to suspect that the books are the lifeforms the computer is registering. ?!!!!!! What kind of logic is that? I'm in my room and it is silent.
The Doctor's daughter review

I know that there were a lot of negative reviews about the Doctor's Daughter before it aired and there are probably even more grumpy reviewers now. So before I read something which ruins my squee I have to post a review to remind myself how much I enjoyed this episode later on:

eeeeeee yay that was awesoooommmee!!!

Martha was awesome
- "oh I love this bit.. it's that feeling you get!" :D yay that's why I love it when Martha travels on the TARDIS. I wish that she felt more inclined to travel again. Damn those traumatic Master-ruled times! *shakes fist*
- It was so cute when the Hath were touching her hair... and a funny experience not having the TARDIS translate this time. But it worked and made for some nifty Hath/Martha interaction
- I cried when the Hath died. Seriously, as Martha crawls across that muddy landscape you can't help but think how many times she's been in that situation- alone with death. I know she loved that Hath, but I bet the accumulation of all her experiences contributed to her reaction.
- aww hugging times were a-plenty. Donna lets Martha hug her ^^. And she's always consumed by the Doctor's hugs cos she's so tiny!
- I like it when she shows her doctor skillz- i think we saw them twice in this ep.
- And she does have a lot of goodbye scenes now! I like this one best because she skips off all smiles (big smiles that is) with her engagement ring (no matter how lame I think the engagement is when we don't even get to see Tom). And her hair is blowing in the wind *dramatic flourish*. "Goodbye Doctor" "Goodbye... Doctor Jones" :D awww they always look like they're holding back tears when they finally have to turn away. Donna saying that she'll travel with him forever though is scary stuff- because it will make whatever reason that she leaves the Doctor extra sad! I hope we get more Martha/Donna scenes later on.

Jenny was awesome
- yay for a bit of character development
- I thought she was cute because Davison's daughter (:D i had to make use of the extra alliteration opportunity lol) kind of played on the childish aspect of her personality which you would expect in a new born Time Lady
- She IS a Time Lady! woo! She didn't actually regenerate though which is interesting.
- I had only just finished mourning the Hath when Martha rejoined them and then she goes and makes me cry again!
- Although- my one negative comment about the episode- the ending where she flew off seemed kind of corny. Not that i'm not pleased she's alive- I like the Doctor being a father again. I hope she will still be an interesting character when she returns since she will have grown up a bit more by then. They'll have to write her from scratch in a way.

Donna played a smaller part this episode but was still awesome
- Using her temp skillz again lol
- "I'd like to see you do that" was an even better line in the context of the episode
- Loving that the Doctor was speechless haha

The Doctor was awesome
- He used a clockwork mouse! Quirky Doctor will always be MY Doctor- no matter if he's in Troughton, Baker, McCoy or Tennant form
- Gallifrey love- Susan's mum love- oh he's crying out for a hug there.
- David Tennant, you know how to make me cry. And how to be freakin' terrifying- i almost thought that he would pull the trigger and blow all our minds away there. Of course it wouldn't have happened but that's the power of good acting.
- It was good to see the Doctor being a proper father figure again. Just for a bit.
- I have to repeat that I love "Goodbye...Doctor Jones" heheh

The Hath were awesome
- woo proper aliens!
- They had that quirky body language thing that the Ood have hee
- I do wonder how a rather synthetic looking mouthpiece evolved onto their heads lol

and the story was rather awesome too. Yes indeedy my vocabulary is limited to 'awesome'.
A mystery with Agatha Christie! I'm so gonna love next episode.

p.s. I forgot to add (but londonbeauty001's post reminded me).. I saw Iron Man yesterday and indeed, it was as fantastic as expected. I love it when expectations are fulfilled. The SFX and CGI were just.. almost too perfect.

I haven't come across a single one.

Speaking of DW-type stuff, the hymn that is sung at the end of Gridlock has been sung all over Australia and New Zealand today... because it's ANZAC day. ohhh yeeaaah- check out those segue skills haha. But seriously, 'Abide With Me' really is an ANZAC tradition- I read it in an article.

The ANZAC Dawn Services were beautiful. This year was the first time they held a Dawn Service at Villers-Bretonneux methinks. There's something so touching about memorial services bringing people from distant places together [with visits to France and Turkey (Gallipoli)]. Particularly in Gallipoli where countries that were once pitching bombs and war cries at each other now stand together in reflective silence.

“Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives ... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace.

There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours ...

You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries, wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace.

After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.”
Ataturk (the founder and first President of the Turkish Republic), 1934

Meme: 10 Things I Love Beginning With The Letter 'F'

Me doing a meme! woo!
persiflage_1 gave me the letter 'f'.
And (as on her LJ) comment to this entry, and if you want to, I will give you a letter so you can do the same in your journal. These are (also) listed in no particular order. I rambled on for way too long so don't worry, there is no way i expect anyone to read this whole thing haha.:

1. Freema Agyeman: Of course! What's not to love? She's sweet, worked hard all her life, makes lame/good jokes, can laugh at herself, is a brilliant actress and is beautiful on the outside and the inside. I also like the way she manages to avoid the 'celebrity' thing in magazines and stuff. I can't stand the way so many actors and musicians fail to remain down to earth... well, if they were ever down to earth.

2. Friends: Well i'm sure most people love friends but i love my friends- whether they be on the net or in real life i'm lucky that i managed to avoid bitchy gossipy people and clicked with a whole lotta awesome people.

3. Family- hehe family= friends in a way. Except with more stress. I am always amazed at how hard it is to stop loving your family... and to keep grudges. I don't always like them (i do at the moment) but i always love them. I suppose it helps that they love me back.

4. Feathery and furry things. And frogs and felines.- more specifically my border collie and my cockatiel. But since i am on my way to becoming a veterinarian i obviously love all animals.

5. Flowers, ferns and forests- I love nature. I don't think you can escape the beauty of the outdoors when you live in a place with so many beautiful animals, gardens, parks, beaches and forests. But i think that most people feel the same way. Unless you are a gardener or trapped in a city like.. i dunno, one of those skyscrapery ones in the US, then you probably take natural beauty for granted from time to time.

6. Fantasy (flying and fairies)- Things that could not be seen but only imagined were my only interest when i was growing up. I believed that whatever could be imagined could be real and so i chose my own reality. My dream for most of my life was to fly one day and i was certain it would happen. In fact my default wish when blowing 'santas little helpers' etc. is still based around myself and the two best friends of my childhood (they are still my friends now so it is still relevant) obtaining this ability. I promised myself i wouldn't give up on wishing when i was a kid because i figured adults always missed out on flying because they gave up too early. So i don't really believe but i won't stop. I'll keep trying in honour of my past self.
I also believed in fairies. Having heaps of flowers and herbs in the garden kept that dream alive for a very long time.
I also wouldn't read a book unless it was involved with fantasy.

7. Fanfic (and, in hindsight, freedom)- i am on LJ so i have to honour the great work of the fanficcers. I don't often have time for it but it's quicker than reading a novel.. and the things these people come up with! Reading this cracky stuff is my secret pleasure. It is not often something i would want my mum to see because of the tendency towards heavy sexual themes <strike>that persiflage_1 has</strike>. But sex and erotica in fiction make me feel, above all, a sense of the freedom women have and should be living up these days because that kind of stuff is generally considered to be guys stuff. I think it definitely does good things for the women that embrace it.

8. Food- Is good stuff. I'm one of those people that has to try any new type of food when i hear about it. I used to cook a lot back in high school as well. My friends consider me a bit of a connoisseur.. haha that means i get the final word on how good something tastes! (well not really. I like to imagine i do. The easter show is coming up and yet again a certain girl is going to waste her money on, ugh, cheese on a stick. That's right. It's cheese, in batter, on a stick.) They know i'll have an opinion on every type of food anyway and will be able to describe in detail just what it is that makes it good and bad. Just in case you're wondering: small expensive portion with a bit of sauce on giant white restaurant plate= not good. I could ramble on about it for ages but if anyone actually bothered reading this then you deserve to be kept sane.

9. Fashion- not that i follow fashion at all. I mean, i never even wear heels. I have my own sense of fashion. But i love clothes reflecting personality. And i like them to be comfortable too. And to give the freedom to kick ass in the street if some rapist asks for it.

10. Funk (and err.. filmography)- haha this is just an excuse to mention music. Because music is too magically wonderful awesome stuff to not be mentioned. Well, not always. It can be irritating as hell. I generally don't like modern pop music, rap, hip hop, metal, techno or country/western (sometimes you'll get great musicians that just make it work). That emo/fake punk icky stuff goes beyond hate. But enough about hate- pretty much everything else is loved. Including punk, real punk. And ska punk. Blues, soul, ska, the stuff that pop, rap etc. used to be, grunge, classical. Even 'soundtrack music' whatever genre that is. Which gives me an excuse to say that i love good filmography. haha

tsk tsk, you weren't expecting a certain wude word were you?

This could make a good Doctor Who story. For in my geeky brain it's actually an alien weapon! mwahaha! But don't worry, the Doctor and Martha Jones are on the case.

Beautiful death-star could threaten Earth
3 March 2008

The Earth may be in the firing line when one of the sky's most beautiful objects explodes, according to University of Sydney astronomer Peter Tuthill.

Dr Tuthill discovered the elegant rotating pinwheel system, named WR104, eight years ago in the constellation Sagittarius. It includes a highly unstable star known as a Wolf-Rayet, widely regarded by astronomers as ticking bombs - the last stop in a star's life before a cataclysmic supernova explosion.

"When it finally explodes as a supernova, it could emit an intense beam of gamma rays coming our way", says Dr Tuthill, whose work is published in the latest edition of the Astrophysical Journal.

In the article Dr Tuthill reveals stunning new images of WR 104 taken with the Keck Telescope in Hawaii, showing a glowing plume of hot dust and gas flung out into a whirling spiral as the two stars at the centre of the system orbit one another every eight months.

But something odd about the images caught the attention of Dr Tuthill and his team: "Viewed from Earth, the rotating tail [see editor's note] appears to be laid out on the sky in an almost perfect spiral. It could only appear like that if we are looking nearly exactly down on the axis of the binary system."

Dr Tuthill and his team worry this box-seat view might put us in the firing line when the system finally explodes. "Sometimes, supernovae like the one that will one day destroy WR104, focus their energy into a narrow beam of very destructive gamma-ray radiation along the axis of the system. If such a `gamma-ray burst' happens, we really do not want Earth to be in the way." warns Dr Tuthill.

At only 8000 light years distance, WR104 is just down the road in galactic terms, only ¼ of the way to the centre of our Milky Way Galaxy. "Earlier research has suggested that a gamma-ray burst - if we are unfortunate enough to be caught in the beam - could be harmful to life on Earth out to these distances. Scientists have speculated that, eons ago, a gamma-ray burst from a distant star could explain mass extinctions seen in the fossil record," he said.

"I used to appreciate this spiral just for its beautiful form, but now I can't help a twinge of feeling that it is uncannily like looking down a rifle barrel."

But Dr Tuthill is not panicking just yet. "There are still plenty of uncertainties: the beam could pass harmlessly to the side if we are not exactly on the axis, and nobody is even sure if stars like WR104 are capable of producing a fully-fledged gamma-ray burst in the first place."

"We probably have hundreds of thousands of years before it blows, so we have plenty of time to come up with some answers."

(article was stolen from my Uni's website btw i.e. www.usyd.edu.au)

I love these question majiggys.. the way everyone's mind seems to work differently is intriguing. As well as many peoples' minds working the same. Anyway my answer: The worst thing= if everything stayed the same. How could i benefit? The rain would never stop and i'd have my family and pets forever. But i'm just taking that for granted anyway.

You know that final scene in 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' (i think) where one of the characters commits suicide (or flies?) by jumping from a very tall mountain? I've always figured that if it was my time i'd like to know what it is like to feel like i'm flying. And i'd only try it from a very high up beautiful place. VERY high up... you want the good moment to last lol. If i'm said to have killed myself in any other way you know that it wasn't suicide- it's a murder conspiracy!
